How to join Optionality — free and Pro.

Joining Optionality takes two minutes: join the free Discord, upgrade to Pro if you want the alert channels, then link your Discord account to your subscription. The Pro role applies automatically once the link completes.

Four steps, in order.

    Join the free Discord

    Open to anyone, no card and no application. Get a feel for the desks, the pace and the people before you spend anything.

  2. 02

    Upgrade to Pro

    Choose Pro Monthly or Pro Annual. Billing, login and Discord linking all live on the member app, not on this site.

  3. 03

    Link your Discord account

    This is the step people miss. Upgrading alone does not grant the role — the integration is what connects your subscription to your Discord profile.

    LOG IN → MANAGE PROFILE → 3 DOTS → INTEGRATIONS → DISCORD → AUTHENTICATE
  4. 04

    The Pro channels unlock

    The role applies automatically once the link completes. If the channels are still hidden after a few minutes, check the troubleshooting table below.

⚠ THE TWO WAYS THIS GOES WRONG

Skipping the link step. Upgrading on its own does not unlock anything. The Discord integration is what grants the role — until it completes, the Pro channels stay invisible.

Authorising the wrong account. If your browser is already signed into another Discord account, the authorisation screen will use it. Switch accounts before approving, or the role lands on a profile that isn't in the server.

SYMPTOMFIX
Upgraded, but no Pro channelsThe Discord link in step 3 has not completed. Log in, open Integrations and connect Discord.
Linked the wrong Discord accountSign out of Discord in your browser, sign in as the account that is in the Optionality server, then re-authorise.
Role applied but channels still hiddenFully quit and reopen Discord. The client caches roles; a restart forces a refresh.
