Γ // The day trading desk
A day trading Discord that shows its work.
Optionality is an options, day trading, swing trading and futures community that operates through Discord. The day trading desk posts its levels before the bell, executes against them live, and reviews the session at the close — so members see the plan, not just the fill.

Θ.01 — What this desk posts
The plan, then the trade.
Pre-market levels and bias
Posted before 09:30 with the invalidation marked. If the level breaks, the bias is publicly wrong — that is the point.
Live execution calls
Entries called as they trigger, in the moment. No retroactive screenshots.
Flat by the close
The desk does not hold intraday risk overnight. Positions are closed or explicitly converted to a swing on the other desk.
End-of-day debrief
Every session gets a short written review — what the tape did, which levels held, and what got missed.
Θ.02 — A day on the day desk
Before, during, after.
- 08:00 ET
Levels posted
Support, resistance and the opening-range plan for the day's tickers, with the bias and what would invalidate it.
- 09:30 ET
Opening range
The first thirty minutes are traded as a defined range. The desk calls the break or the fade — and says which one it expected.
- 10:30–15:00
The session
Level-to-level execution. Quiet tape means fewer calls; the desk does not manufacture setups to look busy.
- 15:45 ET
Flat and review
Positions closed into the bell, then a written debrief of the session while it is still fresh.
Θ.03 — A call from this desk
One session, one format.
Day trading calls carry the same discipline as the options desk — a level, a trigger and the entry, posted before the move rather than after it.
Everything inside Pro →What theta, delta and IV crush mean →Managed live in the channel — trims and the flat-by-close exit posted as they happen, not recapped after the bell.

Direct answers.
What is the Optionality day trading community?
The Optionality day trading community is a Discord desk where analysts post pre-market levels, call intraday entries live as they trigger, and publish a written review at the close. The free server is open to anyone; the live execution channels are part of Pro membership.
Do I need to watch the market all day?
No, but the day desk rewards attention during the session. Members who cannot watch the tape usually follow the swing desk instead, which posts multi-day setups with enough lead time to act after the open. One membership covers all four desks.
What markets does the day desk cover?
The day trading desk covers liquid US equities, index products and futures around SPX and ES levels. Tickers are chosen for liquidity and clean structure rather than volatility alone, and the day's watchlist is posted before the opening bell.
Are day trading alerts beginner-friendly?
Alerts are written to be readable by a beginner: a level, a trigger and a clearly named entry, called in the moment. Beginners should paper trade first and treat the desk as education. Optionality publishes educational content only and does not provide financial advice.
